ChatGPT now connects to Apple Health for better health insights
OpenAI has upgraded ChatGPT's Health feature, allowing it to access Apple Health data and medical records from several US hospital systems. The feature is available to logged-in users aged 18 and above in the US, covering Free, Go, Plus, and Pro plans.
Users can upload records from platforms like One Health and Function Health. ChatGPT helps explain medical terms, summarize health changes, and identify sleep patterns and exercise habits for a complete health overview.
OpenAI says over 300 million people ask ChatGPT health questions weekly. Connected data and conversations won't be used for training ads or models, and all data is encrypted during transfer and storage.
