ChatGPT User Structure Reversed: Female Users Exceed 50%, OpenAI's Computing Power Triples Annually

ChatGPT's user group structure has undergone a historic shift. When launched in 2022, male users accounted for about 80% and female users only 20%; now female users make up over 50%. Based on weekly active users, nearly 500 million women globally use the tool regularly, and the total number of users is about to reach 1 billion.

Computing power is key to AI success. OpenAI's available computing power increased from 0.2 GW in 2023 to about 1.9 GW in 2025, a threefold annual growth. The company is investing heavily in infrastructure, having signed an agreement for over 30 GW with partners like Nvidia, aiming to hold 30 GW of computing power by 2030.
