China Mobile launches New Message Claw, letting you control AI via SMS
China Mobile has launched a new service called 'New Message Claw'. It lets you control the AI assistant Claw (also known as 'OpenClaw') directly through SMS on your phone, without needing to download any extra apps. You can ask it to read files, write code, organize spreadsheets, or auto-reply to messages. The service already works with several other AI agents like Feishu OpenClaw and AutoClaw. To get started, just copy a confirmation SMS and send it to the agent you want to connect. Messages you send to Claw are free, and the system uses the mobile network's high-security channel to ensure delivery. Claw can also summarize your work info and send reminders at set times, even without internet access.
