China unveils mobile token factory for AI computing
China has introduced its first mobile token factory for AI computing, housed in a standard 40-foot container with domestic computing power and energy management systems. It can be towed by an electric truck, supports 9 racks, and features integrated power and communication connections for rapid multi-unit networking. Setup takes just 6-8 hours. With 120 kW power, it delivers 50-100 petaflops, enough to run two domestic large language models. When renewable energy prices drop, the vehicle can move to nearby substations, cutting operating costs by about 25%. It also provides emergency and flexible computing for large projects, meeting low-latency needs.
