CIX launches AGX Station desktop AI supercomputer and full-stack agent computing products
CIX, a Chinese chip company, announced its AGX Agentic Compute strategy in Shanghai and launched the AGX Station desktop AI supercomputer. The strategy focuses on dedicated AI agent CPUs and full-stack computing products for edge, cloud, and device scenarios. The AGX Station is built on CIX's P1 processor with a modular, expandable design. It supports various computing cards like M.2, MXM, and PCIe, and has ports including 2x10G RDMA, USB, and HDMI. The device is small, just 150x150x60 mm, and offers 160 to 320 TOPS of computing power. It can run large models with 70B to 150B parameters natively. The company also introduced Agentic OS, an operating system designed for AI agents. It uses a multi-agent distributed architecture to manage computing resources and devices. The OS integrates major AI models like ZhiPu AI, Kimi, Qwen, and ERNIE Bot through a model-as-a-service approach, and provides standard APIs and development tools.
