Claude chat links accidentally show up in Google search results
Recently, many shared Claude chat links appeared in public search results, raising concerns about privacy in AI conversations. These links were supposed to have a "noindex" tag to stop search engines from listing them, but some pages didn't have it set up correctly, so Google picked them up.
The exposed chats included legal strategy talks, tech troubleshooting, and private sensitive info. Google has now removed the search results, but the incident highlights privacy risks with AI tools. Anthropic hasn't commented yet.
