Claude Code adds /design command for quick prototyping

Anthropic designer Nate Parrott announced on X that Claude Code will integrate a /design command, letting developers create design mockups directly in the terminal or desktop app. The command generates multiple drafts to choose from, edit, and build, while reading the existing codebase to match UI style and produce shareable Artifacts. The editor and prompt features come from Claude Design and are now built into Claude Code, aiming to streamline development and boost design efficiency.
