Claude Code Standard Weekly Limit to Rise 25% Permanently from Sep 14

Anthropic's coding tool Claude Code has announced changes to weekly usage limits for subscribers. Starting September 14, 2026, Pro, Max, Team, and per-seat enterprise users will see their standard weekly limits permanently increased by 25%. The current temporary 50% boost will continue until September 13, then replaced by the new baseline.

Based on the original limit as 100%, users currently have 150% capacity, which will adjust to 125%. Compared to this week's 50% boost, the new policy means about a 17% drop in weekly capacity. Anthropic says this is a permanent change to balance service stability and user needs.
