Claude gets voice upgrade with Chinese support

Android Authority reports that Anthropic is upgrading Claude's voice mode with new language options including Chinese, Spanish, and Japanese, breaking the previous English-only limit.

For voice interaction, Claude now offers two modes: the original hands-free mode for natural conversations, and a new push-to-talk mode where users hold a button to speak and release to send voice messages.

A new phone-like icon appeared in the latest iOS Claude app, suggesting Anthropic may be developing a more phone-call-like voice experience. Some users say Claude is better than ChatGPT, but that's just personal opinion.
