CVE Tracker Webpage Charts Rising Vulnerability Reports

CVE is a widely used system that gives ID numbers to security flaws. A developer known as @0x_Osprey has built a webpage called CVE Tracker. It uses charts to show how the number of reported flaws keeps going up.

The tool turns public records into trend charts. Users can also check when major AI models were launched, to see how that lines up with spikes in flaw reports. AI companies often dig for flaws in test versions before release, so launch dates may not match the surges exactly.

The report says AI is becoming an "amplifier" for security research. It can scan code, reproduce odd behavior, and write up reports faster, covering software corners that people could hardly reach before.

But more flaws being found doesn't always mean systems are more dangerous. More reports can reveal real risks, yet they can also bring low-quality or duplicate ones, adding pressure on security teams.
