DeepSeek API introduces off-peak pricing with half price

DeepSeek announced API price adjustments with peak-valley pricing on August 13. Off-peak prices are half of peak prices. The plan takes effect today. Peak hours are 9:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00 Beijing time, other times are off-peak. For example, deepseek-v4-flash costs 0.05 yuan per million tokens for cached input during off-peak, and 4.5 yuan for output; peak prices are 0.10 and 9.0 yuan respectively. DeepSeek-V4 has a million-token context, leading in agent capabilities, world knowledge, and reasoning performance.
