DeepSeek V4 Flagship Large Model to Launch in Late April, Adding Quick & Expert Modes

DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng revealed that the new flagship large model DeepSeek V4 will be officially released in late April. Recently, the model's capabilities have improved significantly, but it experienced large-scale service anomalies for three consecutive days.

To optimize user experience, DeepSeek recently launched an expert mode and added quick mode and expert mode options above the input box. Quick mode is suitable for daily conversations, supporting instant responses and text recognition from images and files; expert mode excels at complex problems, supporting deep thinking and intelligent search, but may require waiting during peak hours and does not currently support file uploads or multimodal functions.
