Doubao adds canvas feature with new image model Seedream 5.0 Flash

AI assistants are shifting from simple chat tools to multi-task work platforms, as more people need one place to handle documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Doubao Work has added a canvas feature to its task mode. It lets users put materials, plans, and finished work on one unlimited canvas, compare them anytime, and keep tweaking text, colors, and layouts after generating, making complex tasks easier to handle.

The new Doubao 2.1 Lite model is also live now. It costs fewer credits, works faster, and handles documents, spreadsheets, and presentations well. The task mode also supports the new image model Seedream 5.0 Flash, offering more options for creating images in different styles.
