Doubao denies celebrity ranking chart, says it's AI-made

A photo claiming to be a 'Doubao celebrity ranking chart' went viral on Weibo, showing Xiao Zhan and Bai Lu as top actors. Doubao's PR head Liu Xing denied it, saying the chart was made by a user using AI tools, with a watermark in the corner. China has tightened rules on celebrity rankings since 2021, banning such lists. This case shows how AI fake images are used to spread rumors online.
