Doubao is launching a Pro version for productivity tasks

Doubao officially announced plans to launch a Pro version targeting professionals, covering services like software development, data analysis, professional design, workflow automation, financial analysis, and scientific research. The Pro version is currently in testing, with full details to be released upon official launch.

Doubao emphasized that existing free features like search Q&A, writing and image generation, and voice/video conversations will remain free, and the Pro version will also offer free usage within a certain quota. The company refuted recent rumors spread by marketing accounts claiming it would degrade basic features to push paid memberships, calling those claims completely false.
