Doubao stays free, plans pro version for work

At today's FORCE Original Power Conference, the president of Volcano Engine confirmed that Doubao will remain free and provide high-quality service. Meanwhile, Doubao plans to launch a professional version for work tasks, powered by the newly released 2.1 Pro model. The pro version will cover software development, data analysis, design, automation, financial analysis, and scientific research. Basic features like search, writing, image generation, voice, and video chat stay free. Today, Doubao also unveiled five major models, including 2.1 Pro, Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0 4K, Seedream 5.0 Pro, and an audio generation model 1.0. The 2.1 Pro model has major upgrades in coding, agent, and VLM, and is now available via API on Volcano Engine.
