First mass-production robot factory starts in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei
A new robot factory in Beijing's Yizhuang area has started full production. It is the first large-scale factory in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region for making embodied intelligent robots. The factory handles everything from key parts to final assembly, so customers don't need to coordinate with multiple suppliers. The assembly lines use force and vision sensors to change tasks in under 15 minutes, and can run different robot models at the same time. A special test track can carry 6 to 12 robots at once, checking their movement, communication, and safety while simulating real tasks like grabbing and walking. Every screw and movement curve is tracked with a unique code. AI analysis in the cloud can fix quality issues within 24 hours. The factory aims to make 500,000 robots per year by 2030.
