Flathub Bans AI-Written Code After Maintainer Says 'I've Had Enough'

Flathub, a Linux app store, has banned new submissions that use AI-generated code. Maintainer Bart Piotrowski says he's frustrated with arrogant submitters who acted like they were doing the platform a favor. While he sees value in AI for development, the past month's attitude from some users was too much. The rule doesn't affect already published apps.
