Framework Laptop shows off AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 with 192GB memory
Modular PC maker Framework showed off its new Framework Laptop mini PC at AMD Advancing AI 2026, powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 chip with 192GB LPDDR5X-8533 memory. This is likely the first time a third-party device using this processor has been shown in real life.
The updated laptop comes with a better processor and more memory, and the built-in PCIe x4 slot is now open-ended to fit longer graphics cards. However, Framework warns that because LPDDR5X memory prices keep going up, the new model will cost a lot more than the current 128GB version.
