Gemini Spark Adds Google Photos Management
Shimrit Ben-Yair, head of Google Photos, announced that Gemini Spark now supports managing users' Google Photos library, allowing users to perform various photo-related operations through natural language instructions.
With this feature, users can ask Gemini Spark to edit images, organize albums, automatically create shared albums based on selected photos, and even recognize information from photos like concert flyers, converting related events into calendar appointments. Additionally, Gemini Spark can handle more complex workflows, reducing manual efforts in organizing photos and information.
The feature will roll out to eligible Gemini AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the United States in the coming weeks, initially supporting English only. Users need to link Google Photos with Gemini and enable Spark in the Gemini app.
