Google CEO Lets AI Agents Summarize His Daily Updates
Google CEO Sundar Pichai said on a podcast that he now lets AI agents collect and summarize what happened in the past 24 hours, though he still digs into details himself.
With these AI agents, he can track the progress of Google's AI models, see how computing resources are used, and follow chats spread across many internal groups without reading every message.
He stressed that big decisions, like allocating computing resources, are still made by people, not AI. A Cisco engineering director who manages over 10 AI agents said supervising them means constant task-switching, making work more intense with no shorter hours.
Pichai sees the round-the-clock nature of AI agents as a plus. They keep running in the cloud and pick up where they left off, so he can move on to the next problem.
