Google Gemini Leaks Unreleased Game Character Info

A indie game developer found that Google's Gemini search accidentally revealed an unreleased character named "Vantage Tripod" when asked about their new game. This character only existed in a private Google Docs file and was never made public or stored in game files.

Google responded that it doesn't scan private Google Docs or train Gemini on them. Gemini only accesses Workspace files when users ask. Google also noted that if public document links are shared online, search engines might index them, and users can control file permissions.

It's still unclear how Gemini got this info, and the case is under investigation.
