Google Integrates Gemini AI into Workspace Suite to Auto-Generate Docs, Sheets, and PPTs

Google is integrating Gemini AI assistant into its Workspace suite, enabling auto-generation of document drafts in Docs, spreadsheets in Sheets, and PPT slides in Slides.

The test version is now available to AI Ultra subscribers and Gemini Alpha enterprise clients, currently in English only. In Docs, Gemini can extract context from Drive, Gmail, etc., to generate drafts and match writing styles. In Sheets, it can create spreadsheets via natural language prompts, auto-organize cells, with an official claim of 9x human efficiency. In Slides, it can generate full presentations from a single slide.
