Google Launches AI Edge Foresight App for Offline Meeting Notes on Mac

Google has released a new macOS app called AI Edge Foresight, showing Apple users what its EmbeddingGemma 2 on-device multimodal model can do. The app is now free to download.

The app can use the Mac's microphone and system audio, combine them with user notes, and create polished meeting summaries for both online and offline meetings. It runs fully offline, so meeting data never leaves the device.

It also supports real-time Q&A, letting users ask questions based on meeting content and other knowledge bases. The app works on Macs with Apple chips, offering a private and efficient option for meeting notes.
