Google launches Gemini 3.7 Flash with big boosts for coding and agents

Google released the Gemini 3.7 Flash model on August 13, built for coding and agent tasks. It comes just three weeks after the 3.6 Flash, with upgrades based on developer feedback and new algorithms, offering big gains in software engineering, knowledge work, and web development.

Starting today, Gemini 3.7 Flash is available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in over 160 countries through Gemini Spark, improving Workspace app use and boosting accuracy for complex workflows.

For pricing, until December 31, 2026, both 3.7 Flash and 3.6 Flash have a launch deal: $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens, about half the original 3.6 price. The new model also adds safety features to prevent misuse in CBRN and cyberattacks.
