Google Launches Generative UI Standard A2UI 0.9, Enabling AI Agents to Build Interface Elements

Google recently launched the generative UI standard A2UI 0.9, allowing AI agents to build user interface elements by calling existing app components, providing developers with a more efficient interface generation solution.

The standard includes a shared Web core library, official React renderer, and updated renderers for common frameworks like Flutter, Lit, and Angular. It also offers a new Agent SDK supporting Python installation, helping AI agents follow unified generative UI design specifications.

In the future, Google will release Go and Kotlin versions of A2UI. This update adds client-side custom functions, data synchronization, and optimizes error handling. Currently, the A2UI ecosystem supports integration solutions like AG2 and A2A 1.0.
