Google opens Gemini daily brief to free users

Google announced on September 9 that its Gemini daily brief feature is now available to free subscribers. Previously, this feature was only for Google AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra subscribers. The daily brief generates a summary every morning, helping users quickly check to-dos, unread emails, and other important info. It works on web and mobile apps, so users can easily get readable summaries through Gemini. The feature is now available to users in the US and will expand to more countries later. Google also plans to add audio playback, letting users listen to the brief like a podcast.
