Google Play Store gets Gemini to help you find apps

Google Play Store has millions of apps, but finding the right one can be a hassle. To make it easier, Google is adding Gemini to help you find apps quickly.

This feature is rolling out now. Once you turn it on, you can search, install, and buy things in apps right from the Gemini chat window, without leaving the app. For example, you can ask Gemini "Find an app to plan my weekly meals," and it will search and show you options. Tap on one, and it takes you to the Play Store to install it.

You can also say "Show me in-app purchases for this app" or "Buy me a Play Store gift card," and Gemini will help you with that. You need to be 18 or older, have a personal account, and have the Play Store installed to use this feature. Business accounts are not supported.
