Google's Dreambeans Drops Paywall, Opens Free Testing in the US
Google's AI app Dreambeans has removed its subscription requirement and is now offering free testing in the US. The app focuses on a personalized feed, giving users a limited number of AI-illustrated news stories each morning to avoid endless scrolling. It uses data from Google services like Gmail, Calendar, Photos, YouTube, and search history to create tailored content—for example, suggesting a nearby café or sharing puppy care tips if you have a dog adoption event coming up. Previously available only to Google AI Ultra subscribers, it's now open to all users to gather more feedback.
