Google's Gemini 3.7 Flash Model Spotted in Internal Testing

According to tech media TestingCatalog, traces of the Gemini 3.7 Flash model were found on Google's Python GenAI SDK GitHub page. An internal attempt to add the model was rejected due to a naming error. Currently, Google's official API changelog and model catalog still feature Gemini 3.6 Flash, released on July 21. Given the Flash series' roughly two-month update cycle, it's speculated that Gemini 3.7 Flash is in early preparation or internal testing, with an official release date yet to be announced.
