Google Tests New Homepage with AI Features Replacing Search Button

Google is testing a new homepage design where some logged-out users no longer see the traditional "Google Search" button. Instead, three AI shortcuts appear: "Create Image," "Ask Files," and "Brainstorm." These buttons are placed prominently to encourage AI usage. Clicking "Create Image" generates pictures via Nano Banana, "Ask Files" lets users upload documents and get AI answers, and "Brainstorm" allows chatting with Google AI on any topic. Traditional search still works by typing keywords and pressing Enter, and the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button remains.
