Grok 4.5 starts internal testing, close to Opus model performance

Elon Musk announced that Grok 4.5, built on their own 1.5 trillion parameter V9 base model, has started internal testing at SpaceX and Tesla. The model was trained with extra Cursor data, and early tests show it's close to or could beat the Opus model. Musk also said reinforcement learning from human feedback is still improving the model, and the scheduling framework for Grok is being updated daily. Plus, SpaceX plans to release a batch of brand new models trained from scratch every month this year.
