Grok Now Works in Microsoft Office

SpaceXAI launched a Grok extension for Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. After installation, a chat sidebar appears on the right side of Office apps, letting users control documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with natural language commands.

In Word, Grok can generate a full document from a rough draft and format requirements, spot grammar errors, and suggest changes. For Excel, it analyzes selected data, counts values, spots trends, and creates charts with one click. In PowerPoint, just type in a topic, number of slides, and style, and Grok builds the slide deck and fills in content.

Grok also pulls real-time info from X and the web to add detailed analysis and data, making it useful for reports and press releases.
