Grok Source Code Reveals Computer Control Agent Feature; Musk Confirms Macrohard Project's Beta Version Coming Soon

Recently, users found a feature switch named enable_grok_computer in Grok's web-side source code, speculating that xAI is preparing to launch a computer control agent—possibly the beta version of the previously announced Macrohard project.

xAI founder Elon Musk later reposted the relevant post to confirm the feature is coming soon. Macrohard is an AI automation system co-developed by Tesla and xAI, using Grok as the high-level reasoning engine to process screen images and keyboard/mouse operations in real time. The project's data collection work was suspended last month.
