Honor Humanoid Robots Win Beijing Half Marathon, Breaking Human World Record

In the 2026 Beijing Humanoid Robot Half Marathon, the Qitian Dasheng Team, Leiting Shandian Team, and Xinghuo Liaoyuan Team won the top three with times of 50:26, 50:56, and 53:01 respectively, breaking the human half-marathon world record of 56:42. All three teams used Honor's "Shandian" robots.

Honor brought two self-developed robots to the competition: the speed-focused "Shandian" (HONOR Robotics D1) with autonomous navigation and human-like running posture; and the interaction-focused "Yuanqizai" (HONOR Robotics A1) which mimics human gait and competed for the "Best Human-like Gait" award.

The core metal structural parts supporting the robots' stable performance were made by Lens Technology, covering key movement units. During the race, the robots showed strong anti-fall ability and adaptability to complex terrain, providing an engineering path for embodied intelligence to move toward consumer applications.
