Huawei earphones now work with Doubao for dual AI assistants

Huawei earphones now fully support Doubao app. After downloading Huawei Smart Audio and Doubao, HarmonyOS phones can use both XiaoYi and Doubao AI assistants at the same time. Apple and Android phones can also use Doubao for message reading and face-to-face translation. This works with Huawei FreeClip 2 earphones.

The FreeClip 2 got a HarmonyOS update adding Doubao support. It uses Huawei's new low-power chip with an NPU for AI tasks, making computing 10 times faster. The earphones also have an AI ear assistant that can read messages, play audio, and let you wake XiaoYi or translate by nodding.

FreeClip 2 has a dual-diaphragm speaker for louder sound and deeper bass. Battery lasts 9 hours per charge, 38 hours with the case. It supports L2HC audio, adaptive volume, spatial audio, and StarLight for precise finding. Weighing just 5.1 grams per ear, it's made of soft silicone and memory metal, with IP57 dust and water resistance.
