Huawei launches AIPL partner program to scale AI practice teaching
Huawei kicked off its "AI Practice Lab (AIPL) Baseline Partner Program" on August 7 at its Shenzhen campus, teaming up with dozens of education tech providers and university solution partners. Results will be shown at Huawei Connect 2026 in September.
The program uses a "1+X+N" model: Huawei supplies Ascend computing power and the AIPL platform as the base, X partners bring real AI cases and course materials, and N partners handle rollout and operations, bringing real scenarios, data, and algorithms to campuses.
Du Min, head of Huawei's higher education division, said this is a key step from pilot projects to large-scale adoption, aiming to create replicable AI teaching solutions and speed up talent development. Twelve partners are involved, including Huike Education, JiaHuan Tech, and Softtone.
