Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max Wind Speed Edition Starts Pre-Orders, First Active Air-Cooled Phone Launches

Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max Wind Speed Edition officially opens pre-orders at 12:08 today and is now available on the official mall. The new phone offers two colors: Extreme Night Black and Extreme Day Gold, and two versions: 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB, with the price to be announced later.

As Huawei's first phone with active air-cooled heat dissipation, the Wind Speed Edition targets users with high performance and heat dissipation needs. Its appearance follows the Mate 80 Pro Max design, but the rear periscope telephoto lens is moved to the upper right corner to make space for the active cooling fan, which is expected to maintain stable performance in high-load scenarios.

In terms of configuration, the Wind Speed Edition is expected to be equipped with a dual-layer OLED ultra-transparent Linglong screen (1.5K resolution, 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate) with a peak brightness of 8000 nits; it has a 6750mAh battery and supports 100W wired fast charging, continuing the high-end positioning in battery life and charging speed.
