Huawei unveils Atlas 950 SuperPoD with 1024 GPU cards for massive AI computing
At the 2026 World AI Conference, Huawei showed the Atlas 950 SuperPoD for the first time. It connects 1,024 GPU cards, the largest scale in the industry, delivering 1 EFLOPS FP8 and 2 EFLOPS FP4 computing power, with 256TB of shared memory and ultra-fast connections. The system is designed to train large AI models with billions of parameters.
Huawei also said over 750 Atlas 384 SuperPoD systems are already in use across internet, telecom, finance, education, healthcare, and other industries, making it the only supernode in China that has trained state-of-the-art models. The exhibition also featured the Atlas 850E air-cooled system, open-source AI software, and 11 industry solutions.
