Huawei unveils full computing module lineup at WAIC 2026
At the WAIC 2026 conference, Huawei showed its full lineup of computing modules for the first time, including network cards, SSDs, DPUs, and RAID cards. The 800G SP560 AI network card is China's first 800GE card, supporting up to 100,000 nodes with dual-bus design for better bandwidth and processing.
Huawei also introduced the KVU solution to solve the "storage wall" problem. It uses low-latency, high-bandwidth SSDs to cache KV data, moving hot data from memory. The KVU reaches 40GB/s sequential read, 5 million IOPS random read, and 10μs write latency, boosting NPU use and cutting first-token delay for AI tasks.
The computing modules cover standard and AI network cards, SSDs, DPUs, and RAID cards, now used widely in internet, telecom, finance, and energy sectors. Huawei's Ascend 950 supernode also won the top SAIL award at WAIC 2026.
