Huawei Xiaoyi Work Opens Beta, Positioned as AI Work Assistant
Huawei has announced that Xiaoyi Work is now in beta. The service is positioned as an AI work assistant for daily office tasks, code development, and creative work. It supports HarmonyOS phones, tablets, and computers, and a Windows client is available for download at version 0.6.9.
Xiaoyi Work can take user goals, break down tasks on its own, call tools, and push execution forward, with key steps reviewed by the user. The service supports cross-device collaboration, allowing users to remotely assign tasks, check progress, and review results from mobile devices. It can run in both cloud and local computer environments.
According to the membership agreement, benefits include AI points, with different features consuming different amounts. Paid subscription data is kept for 7 days after expiration, while free membership data is deleted immediately after expiration.
Filing information shows that Xiaoyi Work involves multiple generative algorithms, including DeepSeek, Huawei Cloud Pangu NLP, MiniMax, Zhipu, and Moonshot.
