Indian entrepreneur invests $30M to build AI office platform Neo
Indian serial entrepreneur Bhavin Turakhia has invested $30 million of his own money to launch Neo, a new AI-powered office platform. He believes office software built before the AI era can't be upgraded just by adding a chatbot—it needs to be rebuilt from scratch.
Neo went live in April, combining project management, document editing, file storage, and AI features. It supports multiple AI models, so companies can switch between them freely. Turakhia is targeting knowledge workers in tech, consulting, and professional services, planning to open the platform to mid-sized businesses in the coming months.
Based in Bangalore, Neo has about 45 employees and aims to grow to 100 by year-end. Turakhia says the enterprise AI market is huge—even capturing just 2-5% would create a sizable company.
