Intel Arc Pro B70 beats NVIDIA RTX 5090D in DeepSeek R1 test

Tech site Wccftech reported that GUNNIR tested Intel's Arc Pro B70 GPU, which outperformed NVIDIA's RTX 5090D and RTX 4090D in DeepSeek R1 model inference.

The test used four GPUs to compare Arc Pro B70 32GB, RTX 5090D 32GB, and RTX 4090D 24GB in AI large language model performance. The model was DeepSeek R1-Distill Qwen 32B FP16, measured by token/s throughput.

At low concurrency (below 32), RTX 5090D led. At 128 concurrency, Arc Pro B70's token throughput was 8.6% higher than RTX 5090D and 34.2% higher than RTX 4090D. At 256 concurrency, it was 7.5% higher than RTX 5090D and 48.7% higher than RTX 4090D. Arc Pro B70 hit 2320.76 tokens per second at peak.
