Japan's Data Section partners with OpenAI for enterprise AI push

Japan's cloud provider Data Section has teamed up with US AI firm OpenAI to target the enterprise AI market. Data Section runs Nvidia GPU clusters across Asia Pacific and will offer OpenAI models through its TAIZA platform, ensuring regulatory compliance.

This marks a shift for OpenAI from relying on Microsoft Azure to a multi-region, distributed computing model. Data Section's listed status also helps tackle data sovereignty and compliance issues.
