JD AI Agent connects with Tencent Yuanbao for chat-based shopping

JD.com and Tencent announced that JD AI Agent has integrated with Tencent Yuanbao's mini-program ecosystem. When users ask about product models, compare specs, or search for items within a price range in the Yuanbao app, it shows product cards with info from JD. Users can tap to buy directly without leaving the chat or copying links.

The JD AI Agent covers categories like electronics, home appliances, fashion, beauty, and food. It handles recommendations, orders, delivery, and after-sales. It also connects with smart assistants from Huawei, OPPO, and Honor, letting users shop through their phone's native AI.
