JD Health and Beijing Friendship Hospital team up to build a digestive system AI model

JD Health has partnered with Beijing Friendship Hospital to build a specialized AI model for digestive diseases. This model will focus on early cancer screening during endoscopy and disease diagnosis, aiming to combine AI with digestive care.

The collaboration has three parts: creating high-quality data, developing the AI model together, and using it both online and offline. At the hospital, the AI will help with real-time screening, lesion detection, treatment suggestions, and medication safety alerts. It will also offer smart guidance for patients, like check-in help and post-surgery Q&A.

On JD Health's online platform, the AI will provide 24/7 health advice and symptom checks. For patients with chronic digestive issues, it will create a full digital care plan, including diet tips and follow-up schedules. The partners will also share expert health info to teach people about digestive disease prevention.
