JD Launches Robot Repair Service in Europe, Covering Major Cities in UK, Germany, France
JD has launched JoyRobocare robot repair services in Europe, setting up repair centers in Bedford, UK, and Duisburg, Germany. The service uses 'robot ambulances' for home visits, covering major cities in the UK, Germany, France, and the Netherlands. It focuses on delivery, setup, and usage guidance for embodied intelligent robots and four-legged robots.
JoyRobocare aims to solve the problem of robots needing to be sent back to factories for repairs across borders. By offering local home visits and repair centers, it greatly reduces after-sales costs for businesses and consumers. JD has partnered with several robot companies to become their key supply chain and after-sales service provider in Europe. The company also plans to bring in engineers from China for training and develop local repair talent.
JD already has thousands of robot repair engineers in China. Over the next five years, its service plans to train 100,000 engineers to cover repairs for robots and smart home devices.
