Kilo Code tests Grok Build 0.1, builds webhook service with zero tool failures
Kilo Code, an AI coding agent IDE tool, shared a test report on X showing Grok Build 0.1's performance. This tool, built by US company xAI, helps developers complete complex software tasks in the terminal using natural language, competing with products like Claude Code. Kilo Code asked Grok Build 0.1 to create a webhook delivery service using TypeScript, Bun, and SQLite. The build had zero tool failures. Before writing any code, Grok Build searched the web to learn Stripe's signature format, GitHub's retry behavior, and Standard Webhooks rules, and asked 9 clarifying questions. The whole build cost about $1.65, much cheaper than models like GPT-5.5 and Claude Opus 4.7. Elon Musk shared the result and said it was "great value."
