Lenovo aims for China's top server market spot by 2027, unveils powerful computing solution
At a press event in Beijing, Lenovo announced its China infrastructure business aims to hit 100 billion yuan in revenue by 2027 and become the country's top server maker.
To get there, Lenovo launched the 'WenTian Super Node' computing solution, which packs up to 40 GPUs per node with over 28 PFLOPS of FP8 power and 5.76 TB of HBM memory, designed for training large AI models. It uses low-latency tech to fix communication bottlenecks in huge clusters and a cable-free design that cuts setup time to just hours.
The company also rolled out the 'WanQuan Heterogeneous Smart Computing Platform V5.0', which boosts AI training and inference efficiency through cluster acceleration and chip-model optimization, supporting diverse computing chips.
