LG and Nvidia Sign Deal to Boost AI and Robotics

LG and Nvidia signed a deal in Santa Clara, California, with both CEOs present, to start working together on AI projects.

For robots, LG will test its wheeled robot CLOiD at a factory in Tennessee, and plans to launch a humanoid robot in early 2027 using Nvidia's Jetson Thor chip and Isaac GR00T platform.

LG also plans to build an AI factory demo based on Vera Rubin chips in the first half of 2027, and a full 80MW AI factory in Cheonan, South Korea, by early 2028. They will also develop car computing systems using Nvidia's DRIVE Hyperion platform.
